3:30 pm - 4:15 pm | Meet on 6 Conference Center | Suite 6-180
This interactive session is for any designer curious about how to transform themselves from research-informed designer to design-informed researcher within the context of their own lived and professional experience. Presenter will outline research basics: composing a research question, the role of theory, types of data, information gathering methods, along with data reduction, analysis, and representation of findings. We will then explore how designers’ skills align with the scientific method. Attendees will have the chance to brainstorm and share ideas for studies related to their own interests in design.
